French Visiting Faculty Position at Bennington College

Bennington College invites applications for a one-term sabbatical replacement in French to begin February 14, 2019. We are seeking a faculty member to contribute one or two innovative course offerings in French and Francophone literature and/or culture at the intermediate and/or advanced level. Native or near-native proficiency in French and English, an excellent teaching record, and familiarity with content-based pedagogy in a liberal arts college environment are required. A Ph.D. is preferred; very advanced graduate students will also be considered.


Bennington College is a small residential liberal arts college in southern Vermont, long distinguished for its progressive approach to higher education.
