The Admissions Visit Coordinator is an intergral part of the Admissions team.  The Coordinator provides scheduling and reception support and is essentially the 'public face' of the Office of Admissions. The position serves as the liaison between public visitors to the Office and College staff, faculty, and students. The position coordinates the schedule/activities of visitors - activities ranging from campus tours and conversations with counseling staff to class visits and overnight stays with current students - with an emphasis on a personalized and substantive experience. The Coordinator manages the Office of Admissions calendar, assigning events to respective staff and manages Admissions facilities to ensure a clean and welcoming environment.

Qualficiations must include a high school diploma or equivalent and 1-3 years of administrative experience; a Bachelor's degree and admissions experience preferred.  The Coordinator is generally an external facing position working with students at a different educational stages, the parents or guardians of students, and secondary school counselors and teachers who will tender a broad array of requests. Flexibility and good judgment are essential to navigating the requests and expectations of such a broad constituency.  Candidates must possess exemplary communication skills and must be able to build relationships quickly and easily.  The position requires a strong technology orientation; experience with Slate CRM, Google Products, e-mail and the Internet); experience with spreadsheets (Excel) preferred.  Candidates must have a high attention to detail and accuracy and have demonstrated success in organizing volumes of paperwork.
