Classroom Technology and Media Coordinator

Bennington College seeks an AV professional for our Classroom Technology and Media Coordinator. This dynamic person will be passionate about empowering the Bennington education through the effective, efficient, innovative use of audio visual media.

The classroom technology and media coordinator manages all aspects of the daily operations of media support for our campus, including scheduling and managing live events and supporting classroom technology. The coordinator manages a team of approximately 10 student workers, helping to train them with real-world job-force skills. The coordinator is also responsible for working with the Director of Technology to develop and implement a broad AV strategy for the campus. The coordinator reports to the Director of Technology and supports the vision of the IT@Bennington team.

The ideal candidate will be meticulously organized and incredibly nimble; the ability to multitask and manage competing deadlines is essential. 

The position requires demonstrated AV support experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment; associates degree in IT or similar preferred. Candidates must be creative problem-solvers and possess strong communication skills - demonstrating an ability to build relationships and develop partnerships across the College. The position requires remarkable attention to detail and strong technology orientation/proficiency using Google Suite, MS Office, and Adobe Suite, particularly Adobe Premiere and After Effects, preferred.
